There are just a few days left in our Kickstarter campaign. We’ve passed our initial goal, and will have funds to cover promotional and advertising expenses. Any additional funds raised from this point on will go towards making more CD’s. It looks like we’ll go through the first thousand pretty quickly, but it’ll cost $1500 or so to make another thousand discs.
There are lots of great bonus items available at different donation levels. Any size donation helps though. Help us spread the word about surf music!

The best of these new tracks – many compiled for you here – can stand toe to toe with the very best of the 1960s.
The songs on this CD testify to a love affair between the musicians and their music. Surf musicians …
One of our favorite labels, Norton Records, is celebrating their 25th anniversary with a huge blow-out in NYC. When I first started Double Crown Records back in 1996, Norton was one of the first labels I got into when discovering surf and vintage rock n’ roll. Sadly, I won’t be in New York for …
The Takeoffs are a fairly new surf band based in beautiful Hawaii. They have a traditional, reverb drenched sound, and have delivered a 14 track CD filled with covers of surf classics, as well as a whole bunch of great new songs. You can find out more about this great band, and listen to songs from the CD, on their mySpace page.
You can win a copy of their CD by answering the following question: How many islands make up the state of Hawaii? Send your answer in to us via …
