Thee Gassed Caskets - Night at the Mausoleum CD (Killer Turbo)

This new release will find a welcome home next to your favorite Ghastly Ones, Ghouls and Deadly Ones albums. From the beautifully illustrated cover, which depicts a hearse in front of a graveyard with mysterious green smoke in the air, to the music that befits the horror/spooky theme, this is the perfect package. While the bulk of this album sits firmly in the horror surf genre, there are some 60’s go-go type tunes (perfect for a Halloween dance party), some Davie Allan-style fuzz rock, and a couple of garage-rock vocal tunes. The guitars alternate between reverb and fuzz, and the spooky organ sets the mood throughout perfectly.
