The Wanglers - Glass Radio CD

Item Detail:

The Wanglers – Glass Radio (Goofin’)

The Wanglers are a great traditional instrumental rock band that cross the melodies and tone of The Shadows with the energy of The Ventures. Featuring Pekka Laine of The Hypnomen, this group has a completely different sound that allows him to do something different. Of the fifteen songs nearly all are originals. It comes in a nifty digipak and includes a video for the song "Cat Call". Essential for fans of The Shadows or Euro-styled instros.

Tracks: Glass Radio - Cossack Rider - Sad Girl - Kyoto Doll - Magic Night With Mandsurian Emma - Dawn In Nagamura - El Nino - Twit - Last Stage West - Hostdrommar - Gotlandsk Sommarnatt - When The Leaves Are Falling - 13th Ride - Waves Song - Cat Call

The Wranglers Glass Radio (02:46)
The Wranglers from Finland “Ruatalanka” A Finnish word meaning instrumental rock in general. A distinct style of playing it that has developed in Finland over the years. The melodies tend to be in minor keys and melancholic, based on folk tunes and schlager songs. The essential hallmark of rautalanka sound is a strong lead guitar with single coil pickups and tape echo guitar effect (in contrast to the reverb style spring echo used in surf music). Genuine tape echo devices are used often. Copyrights: These videos are exclusively for public information and entertainment only. I don't derive any profit from any of these videos.
