The Deweys - Search For Surf LP / CD (Self-Released)  

Hailing from the home of instrumental surf music, Southern California, The Deweys are a relatively new 4-piece combo that have just delivered their debut album to the world. Search For Surf is a 16 song CD that sees the band exploring the different sounds and rhythms of the early 60’s scene, but with a fresh and modern take. The production is clean and precise, allowing all of the players to shine on this fun set of original instrumental tunes. The CD version contains two extra tracks that aren't on the vinyl LP - covers of Neil Diamond’s “Solitary Man” and Peter Schilling’s “Major Tom (Coming Home)”.
