Excuse me while I wipe my brow and put my eyeballs back in their sockets - this two song 7” is SURF ROCK. Yes, it sounds like it could have come from the 60’s and doesn’t take the sound in new, modern directions, but that is exactly why I dig it so much. Chugging Astronauts-style rhythm guitars, twangy lead guitars battling with saxophones, snappy traditional surf beats and spot-on production. Pressed on gorgeous blue vinyl and housed in a vintage style picture sleeve.
