Wow - this record has everything - the sweet, sultry 60’s ye-ye sound with vocalist Fleur (she’s Dutch, but sings in French because in her words “it’s the most beautiful language in the universe”), backed by members of Les Robots and recorded at Teepdek Productions studio. The sound is 100% authentic - guitars, bass, drums, piano, organ, clavoline and stylophone with production just as authentic as you’d find with any scratchy record you’d pay way too much money for in a vintage record store. In many ways this album sounds like what might have happened if France Gall was produced by Joe Meek.
