Genki Genki Panic - The Munge 7” EP (Uncommon Interests) 

Hailing from the southern city of Atlanta, this three-piece surf / instro rock combo melds modern surf, old-school punk rock and the horror-surf of bands like The Ghastly Ones, The Nebulas and Satan’s Pilgrims. You can also tell that they dig 60’s surf and b-movies from that era as well. The production is excellent, but it’s the power, and the atmospheres that they have laid to tape that will impress the most.
