The Surfites have a brand new 7″ out now, featuring two brand new recordings. This is the third release in our jukebox singles series, and this one might just be the best yet. The A-side is a snappy toe-tapper called “Here She Comes Again”, while the flip comes just in time for summer – “Theme For Surfers”. “Here She Comes Again” is the band’s first vocal tune – but it’s not the Surfites singing (although the guys did sing in their previous band, The Daytonas). It’s The RPM’s (featuring Baron …

The TomorrowMen are ready to hit the surf/instro rock scene with their debut CD release, “It’s About Time!”. Double Crown On The Rocks Podcast, Headline »
Hot on the heels of Double Crown on the Rocks #18, we’ve got a brand new show, dedicated to songs recorded in, or inspired by, Hawaii (more specifically, Oahu). My family and I took our first trip to Hawaii a few months ago, and before leaving I put together an iPod playlist consisting entirely of songs recorded on the island of Oahu, or with titles of landmarks, beaches, surfing spots and towns on the island. It was a large playlist, but I’ve whittled it down to 21 great songs – …
Double Crown On The Rocks Podcast, Headline »
We have started up our Double Crown On The Rocks podcast again, with new equipment, which will hopefully make it more listenable than before. Since it’s coming from Double Crown, shows will definitely feature lots of great surf and instrumental rock n’ roll (including new, rare and unreleased songs). Occasionally we’ll branch out though – as much as we love surf rock, we also dig rockabilly, exotica, garage rock and all sorts of stuff from the 50’s and 60’s.
We did about 17 shows 5 years …
