The Untamed Youth will be touring Spain in June. Opening will be Deke Dickerson & The Ecco-Fonics – whatta bill! If you’re in Spain in a couple of months, here are the dates:

June 11 at Sala 2 de Apolo in Barcelona
June 12 at Kafe Antzokia in Bilbao

The Mummies are playing a series of live shows this year, including shows in Europe and the US. I searched through Youtube and found a few clips – the ones from the Born Bad Records fest were the best I could find. Kinda weird seeing the boys play on such an elaborate stage, with all of those fancy lights, but heck, they sound great!

Although it veers more towards a vintage Estrus garage/punk lineup, with just one instro rock band on the bill, I’m bummed that I can’t make this festival. Heck, there’s a bunch of Euro festivals that I’d love to see – it’s too bad that the surf n’ garage rock scene is really happening over there, with little action happenin’ here (aside from the rockabilly fests in Vegas).
