Dick Dale Hits Bellingham Again On December 14th!

In a town starved for surf music (with the exception of The All-Nighters, which are an excellent instrumental/surf rock band that we’re extremely lucky to have), it’s rare when the King Of The Surf Guitar comes to town. Every 3-5 years is the norm, yet I just go the news via Facebook that he’s coming back. He was just here in late June, and successfully busted the eardrums of a couple hundred fans. The Sadies w/Black Mountain – Bellingham: Wild Buffalo 3/26/09

It’s nearly 24 hours after the Sadies/Black Mountain show at the Wild Buffalo, and my ears are still ringing! I was a little worried that I wouldn’t get in – I never got around to picking up an advance ticket, and I had a indoor soccer game to play until 10pm, so I didn’t get there until a quarter after.
