Heretic Channel is the latest release by Russian surf combo Messer Chups, and it’s their best yet! They continue with their unique sound that blends surf beats, twangy guitar and theremin, and have added vocals on a few cuts (four of them, although calling them vocals is a tad misleading since it’s more like creepy, monotone dialogue) and to please the die-hards, a couple of often covered classics, “Crash” and “Munsters Theme”. They also do a cool take on the Twin Peaks theme song (“Twin Peaks Twist”). "Heretic Channel" has 20 songs, plus 2 bonus videos! Comes in a fold-out mini-LP style sleeve.
