15 February 2010 One Comment

Richard Delvy, drummer with The Bel-Airs and The Challengers, and an established producer and operator of a recording studio, passed away last week at the age of 67. Both of his 60’s surf combos did much to establish the essential sound of the genre, that still lives on today. Check out the Sundazed website for a more extensive look at his life and career, including notes from famed surf/culture historian Dominic Priore.
